My wife and I recently decided to remodel our laundry room so that we could make space for a larger washer and dryer. First we had to clean out all the additional junk that was in there. Then we took the old top loading washer and dryers out and stripped all of the partitions and floor bare of every thing else. Right after that we made the decision to replace the floor with new linoleum since the old stuff was pretty beat up (torn and scuffed) and repair the partitions prior to installing the new front loaders, which ought to be much more effective. We finished off the space by putting in a bunch of new area saving shelves along the walls and above the units too. The remodel turned out fantastic, now we’ve tons of storage area in a relatively little space.
